Lobophyllia, often referred to as Lobo, is a large polyp stony (LPS) coral that is popular in the aquarium trade. It is characterized by its fleshy polyps that expand significantly when the coral is not stressed, giving it a unique and attractive appearance. The colors of Lobophyllia can vary greatly, with some specimens exhibiting brilliant reds, greens, blues, or a combination of these colors.
